What is Human Resource and Development Department
The Human Resources and Development Department is one of five departments within the IAAS LC Unpad organization. This department is responsible for developing skills, recognizing achievements, monitoring and evaluating performance, fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie among all IAAS LC Unpad members, and conducting open recruitment for new IAAS LC Unpad members. The work programs implemented by the Human Resources and Development Department of IAAS LC Unpad consist of six activities: IAAS Birthday Card and Congratulations, IAAS Faway, IAAS Anniversary X Skill Development, IAAS Gathering, IAAS Looking for New Members, and Peer Assessment.
Work Program
1. IAAS Looking For New Member (ILFNM)
IAAS Looking For New Member (ILFNM) is a main program from HRD to recruiting potential new members into IAAS LC Unpad each year. This program facilitates the organization’s annual growth by recruiting dedicated individuals who are prepared to contribute meaningfully and drive positive impact in the field of agriculture and its related sectors. To achieve membership renewal for IAAS LC Unpad, an Open Recruitment for New Members of IAAS LC Unpad is necessary for all new students from various faculty at Padjadjaran University.
2. FAWAY! (Fun With IAAS)
IAAS FAWAY is an interactive event to enhance interdepartmental relationships. It gives members a chance to get to know each other better through casual and enjoyable activities outside of formal meetings. This program also helps create a stronger sense of unity and belonging among all IAAS LC Unpad members.
3. IAAS Anniversary X Development Skill
Development Skill is a training program designed to develop the skills and competencies of members in facing professional and social challenges. Through this activity, members are given the opportunity to broaden their horizons and hone skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, effective communication, and leadership. By featuring competent speakers, the aim is to provide deeper insights, share experiences, and equip members with skills they can apply in both their personal and professional lives. As a result, Development Skills serves as a platform for expanding networks, honing abilities, and preparing members to be more competent in facing competition and challenges.
4. IAAS Birthday Card and Congraduation
IAAS Birthday is a celebration of the birthdays of each IAAS LC Unpad member, in the form of greetings to strengthen the sense of family and show that each member is always appreciated and celebrated. Meanwhile, IAAS Congraduation is a form of celebration and appreciation given to IAAS members on their graduation day, as recognition of their achievements.
5. IAAS Gathering
The IAAS Gathering is a performance evaluation activity conducted at the end of each term during the IAAS LC Unpad management period, organized by the IAAS LC Unpad HRD department. It is hoped that this will improve the quality of work programs so that productivity increases and relationships between IAAS LC Unpad members become closer.
6. Peer Assesment
Peer Assessment is a program implemented by HRD to provide assessment, recognition, and appreciation for each member of IAAS LC UNPAD. Activities within the Peer Assessment program include the Report Card, Awarding: Best Staff of the Month, and IAAS Appreciation. The Report Card is an evaluation of the activity and performance of each member of IAAS LC UNPAD. Awarding is the presentation of awards to the best staff members in each department. IAAS Appreciation is recognition for IAAS LC UNPAD members who have achieved excellence and brought honor to IAAS LC UNPAD.
