The International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences (IAAS) is the world’s largest student organization focused on agriculture and related fields. Founded in 1957 with only eight member countries, IAAS has grown into a global network spanning 53 countries and comprising over 10,000 active members. For more than six decades, IAAS has connected students worldwide through collaboration, innovation, and sustainable development initiatives.

IAAS Local Committee (LC) Universitas Padjadjaran, or IAAS LC Unpad, is one of twelve Local Committees under IAAS Indonesia. Established over 30 years ago, IAAS LC Unpad is based at Universitas Padjadjaran, Jatinangor, Sumedang. Each year, the committee continuously evolves by developing innovative programs and strengthening its local impact. With the motto “Think Globally, Act Locally,” we initiate impactful programs such as the Village Concept Project, Agroschooling, IAAS Goes to Embassy, International Competition Program, and many more.
In 2026, IAAS LC Unpad is led by Muh Bintang Putra Utama Ladwan and his cabinet AscensIAAS, a team that embodies enthusiasm, professionalism, and a strong commitment to creating positive change. With a cheerful spirit and purposeful action, AscensIAAS is determined to make a lasting impact on society through collaboration and innovation.
